Android Mobile Devices: Add Account

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Applications button.
  2. Tap the "Email" icon.
  3. If this is your first email account, you will be presented with an email setup screen. Tap the "Next" button. Otherwise, press the "Menu" button, tap "Accounts", press the "Menu" button and then "Add Account.
     
    WARNING: Do not edit an existing email account. You must use the Add Account feature or you will lose your current email. This only applies if you use your mobile device exclusively to send/receive email or if you have not already configured an additional email client using setup instructions provided from one of the above links.
  4. Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).
  5. In the second box, enter the password for your email account.
  6. Tap the "Manual Setup" button.

Android Mobile Devices: Incoming Mail Server

  1. Tap the "IMAP" button.
  2. User Name: Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).
  3. Password: Enter the password for your email account.
  4. IMAP server: Enter secure.emailsrvr.com
  5. Port: 993
  6. Security Type: Select SSL (always).
  7. Tap the "Next" button. The device will connect to the Internet and check your incoming settings.

Android Mobile Devices: Outgoing Mail Server

  1. SMTP server: Enter secure.emailsrvr.com
  2. Port: 465
  3. Security Type: Select SSL (always)
  4. Tap the "Require sign-in" checkbox.
  5. Tap the "Next" button. The device will connect to the Internet and check your outgoing settings.
  6. On the "Account options" screen, make changes as desired.
