Domain Setup

Domain Setup: If you have requested a domain name purchase:

1. We'll take care of everything for you.
2. Once the request is made, you should be able to view your site using the new name within 48 business hours.

1. Log in to your domain account on your registrar's web site and follow their instructions for changing your domain's name servers. You can find out where your domain is registered by performing a whois search.
2. Email your Site ID and domain name to domains@websrvcs.com, requesting we add your domain name to our system.
3. Set the primary name server to ns1.websrvcs.com.
4. Set the secondary name server to ns2.websrvcs.com.

1. Update the A record(s) for your domain to point to our server. Please call or email technical support to obtain the proper IP address to point your name.
2. If we will be providing your email service, you will also need to update your domain's MX records to point to mx1.emailsrvr.com with a preference of 10 and mx2.emailsrvr.com with a preference of 20.
3. Make sure you send us a list of email accounts to be setup before changing your MX records.
4. Email your Site ID and domain name to domains@websrvcs.com, requesting we add your domain name to our system.
