Why isn't the information in my SEO Settings tab showing up on Google?

It is not uncommon for it to take a few days or even weeks between the time you update your site and the time Google (or any other major search engine such as MSN, Yahoo, etc.) crawls it.

 

In addition, the keywords you used during the search can affect what you see in the search results for your site.  For instance, if the keywords you used during the search are all contained in your SEO Settings tab in the site description area, you should see the description as you typed it.  However, if any of the keywords you used during the search are not found in the site description area of the SEO Settings tab of your site, the search engine will attempt to find those words in your page's content and display the sentences containing them instead.
